Thank you for coming to the International Cultural Festival in Red Hook, Brooklyn, from September 4 to 7! You were with us for an enriching experience filled with music, art exhibitions, performances, discussions, and workshops centered around the important topics identity, immigration, and the environment. We really enjoyed the AbsoLUTE Movement HUN festival, where we proudly presented "Identity, Immigration, Environment,” a thought-provoking contemporary group exhibition featuring the works of emerging artists with Hungarian roots. This exhibition invited you to explore the intricate relationships between past, present, and future through the of identity, immigration, and environmental sustainability. "Identity" showcases diverse practices that engage with historical narratives and Hungarian traditions, emphasizing solidarity and connection. Meanwhile, "Immigration" challenges us to confront the realities of our chaotic world where we are seeking our "best places" and "best societies" ironically. "Environment" encourages a global dialogue on sustainability and the green economy. Thank you for joining us in this important exploration of contemporary issues through art.
