Self-Expression through Humor


This course invites participants to experience the inspiring—and often healing—power of humor. Through group sessions filled with improvisational exercises and playful games, we explore the very essence of comedy: what makes a joke land, what sparks laughter, and how humor can connect us. Participants will get a taste of the craft behind making others laugh—whether an audience or one another—while discovering humor as a tool of creativity, self-expression, and joy. This course will be held in English.


Teacher: Dániel Pálinkás (actor)


He first graduated in International Relations at Corvinus University of Budapest, before making a bold career shift and moving to the United States. In 2019, he earned his Acting degree from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York—an institution whose legendary alumni include Robert Redford, Grace Kelly, Kim Cattrall, and Danny DeVito.
