Live Jazz Music with August DuClos Trio

August DuClos is a young jazz bassist born and raised in New York City. August has had music in his life since before he was born, raised by two acclaimed, globally recognized musicians, Michael DuClos (Bass) and Eszter Balint (Violinist and Singer/songwriter). In the past two years, he has already developed a long list of venues and performances where he has both led groups and worked as a sideman, including playing at the Camden Opera House for the Jazz in June festival and the notorious club Hinterraum in Berlin. Actively playing and touring with multiple groups (MKtrio, Stony Kill, August DuClos Trio), August is constantly studying and playing music across a multitude of genres. Drawing inspiration from Oscar Peterson, John Coltrane, and Brad Mehldau, he and his trio play from a place of both deep personal connection and a recognition of jazz history.
